Level Up Your Purification with Our Scalable CPC Systems

CPC is a silica-free alternative to traditional chromatography methods with comparable yields and purity. The primary difference from other techniques is that CPC uses two non-miscible liquid phases and rotors rather than a solid column, which makes it a cost-effective method with less of an impact on the environment. The stationary phase is maintained in the chromatography column by a centrifugal field created by the rotation of the rotor. The components in complex mixtures are separated based on their partition coefficient between the stationary and mobile phases.

We offer a variety of scalable CPC solutions, from lab- to process-scale production, that have been developed based on years of experience in the liquid chromatography industry.

Purification of Forsythiaside A From Forsythia Suspensa by CPC

Forsythiaside A, a phenylethanoid glycoside, is one of the major active constituents extracted from the air-dried fruits of Forsythia suspensa and has been reported to possess a wide range of pharmacological properties, including anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities. This application note discusses a simple, fast, and cost-efficient method to prepare pure compounds using a centrifugal partition chromatography (CPC) system.
